APC Lawmaker Caught Bathing In Market In Osun State Ahead Of Election

Ahead of the 2018 election in Osun State, an APC lawmaker identified as Hon Timothy Owoeye, was reportedly caught bathing in a market.
It gathered that this was a ritual ahead of the election scheduled to take place in the state soon. The APC lawmaker who is a Majority leader and also represents Ilesa West State Constituency in the State’s House of Assembly, was spotted begging residents of the area after he was caught red-handed in the fetish act at the market.

His bio on the House of Assembly official website reads;
Hon Timothy Owoeye is the Majority Leader of the Current State House of Assembly representing Ilesa East State Constituency in the Assembly.
Hon Owoeye was born on 24th August 1972. He attended St Peter’s School Ilesa (1978-1985) for his primary education. He attended C.A.C Commercial High School (1985-1991) where he completed his Senior School Certificate Examination. He proceeded to Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife, (1995-1997) where he got his diploma in Local Government Studies and University of Ado-Ekiti (2001-2004). Hon Owoeye graduated with a degree in Political Science in 2005 from the University. He represented his people between 1999-2002 as a Councilor, Ward 10 of Ilesa East Local Government. He has been a member of the State House of Assembly since 2007 when he was the Minority Leader in the Fourth Assembly.

300 level ABU student commits suicide over ‘lack of parental love’

A   300 level student of the  Ahmadu Bello University , Zaria, ABU Aisha Omolola, has committed suicide in her apartment at Samaru area of Zaria. Aisha, TALKERlearned, drank a bottle of insecticide on December 26, 2018, leaving a note where she stated the reason for her action. In her suicide note, the deceased blamed her parents for her action, saying they made life a living hell for her. The suicide note read: “Just like I said, If I am no more, please hold my family especially my mum and dad responsible. *FUTA alumni reject call to rename varsity after Shagari

Following the call to rename the Federal University of Technology, Akure, after the late former President Shehu Shagari, the alumni of the institution have kicked against the call, saying it might mar the brand of the institution.  It was gathered that after the death of Shagari, there had been calls from some quarters that the former President be immortalised by naming one of the federal universities  established during his administration between 1979 to 1983, after him.  Speaking with journalists on Wednesday, the President of the FUTA Alumni Association, Olaitan Adesomoju, appealed to the Federal Government to disregard the suggestion that Shagari be immortalised by renaming FUTA after him.  According to the  alumni president, a name change for FUTA would do more harm than good to the institution, which he said had over the years created an international brand for itself with the name FUTA.  Adesomoju said the focus for the institution should be how its infrastructural an
