OMG: Nigerian Man’s Wife Dies While 6 Months Pregnant, But Baby Was Delivered Alive


A Nigerian man has been left to bring up his daughter alone after his wife of eight months, died while six months pregnant in the UK, but her baby was delivered alive.

Education consultant, Emmanuel Olubayo, 35, could only watch helplessly as Emma, a nursing team leader, collapsed from an undetected heart defect and died at their home in Leicestershire.
Paramedics tried for an hour to resuscitate the 41-year-old before performing a rare posthumous delivery. They carried out an emergency Caesarean section on the living room floor last November.
The couple’s baby girl, Aretha, was delivered alive, 10 weeks prematurely, and was taken to the hospital. Emmanuel said he was shocked to become a father and a widower on the same day

300 level ABU student commits suicide over ‘lack of parental love’

A   300 level student of the  Ahmadu Bello University , Zaria, ABU Aisha Omolola, has committed suicide in her apartment at Samaru area of Zaria. Aisha, TALKERlearned, drank a bottle of insecticide on December 26, 2018, leaving a note where she stated the reason for her action. In her suicide note, the deceased blamed her parents for her action, saying they made life a living hell for her. The suicide note read: “Just like I said, If I am no more, please hold my family especially my mum and dad responsible.
