OMG: Man Takes Tramadol-Laced Dry Gin For A Fight, Dies After Victory

A middle-aged man identified as Chibuike aka Achi, has reportedly died in Okomoko, Rivers State, after taking a mixture of dry gin and tramadol.
The incident happened on Thursday evening. The deceased had loaded himself with the drink before heading to a bakery in the area, to beat another young man whom he had accused of snatching his girlfriend.
He was heading home after successfully beating his rival when he collapsed and died.
When his pockets were searched, a bottle of dry gin, tramadol, lighter and a penknife was found. His rival and the snatched girlfriend have since been arrested by the police.

300 level ABU student commits suicide over ‘lack of parental love’

A   300 level student of the  Ahmadu Bello University , Zaria, ABU Aisha Omolola, has committed suicide in her apartment at Samaru area of Zaria. Aisha, TALKERlearned, drank a bottle of insecticide on December 26, 2018, leaving a note where she stated the reason for her action. In her suicide note, the deceased blamed her parents for her action, saying they made life a living hell for her.
