He collapsed inside the Lagos airport - Sources reveal cause of Ras Kimono’s death


According to Punch, the deceased collapsed at the Muritala Muhammed International Airport on Saturday, June 9, while waiting to board a flight to the United States (US). However, sources close to him further revealed that Kimono was immediately rushed to an unnamed hospital in Ikeja and then taken to another hospital on Lagos Island where he later died on Sunday morning. He collapsed inside the Lagos airport - True cause of Ras Kimono’s death finally revealed Late singer Ras Kimono.



Nigerians mourn legendary musician Ras Kimono who died at the age of 60 The death of the artiste, who was a native of Onicha Olona in the Aniocha north local government area of Delta state, was confirmed by the president of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN), Pretty Okafor and the Chairman of the Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON), Chief Tony Okoroji. Ras Kimono died at the age of 60. He last performed at the recently held 2018 edition of Headies award which took place in April at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos. The event has since thrown members of the Nigerian music industry, family, close friends and fans into deep mourning. RIP

300 level ABU student commits suicide over ‘lack of parental love’

A   300 level student of the  Ahmadu Bello University , Zaria, ABU Aisha Omolola, has committed suicide in her apartment at Samaru area of Zaria. Aisha, TALKERlearned, drank a bottle of insecticide on December 26, 2018, leaving a note where she stated the reason for her action. In her suicide note, the deceased blamed her parents for her action, saying they made life a living hell for her. The suicide note read: “Just like I said, If I am no more, please hold my family especially my mum and dad responsible.
