Here is the green sidereal day
Where air is soft and sky is grey
What tender message shall I send
When words are even rare in its world.
What rose of song will resonate solace
What petal of dew will glitter girder
As I crest and spread the wings
Of thy soul In my folded memory.
The blossom ballad I would yodel
Is as sweet as Orlando Owo's oldie
As you both share the lattice lineage
Forever does that lives in your memoirs.
I have no perfect pittance of words
Even with my bustle and alacrity
But I know of a poem full of prayers
To please an adorable companion.
O gracious God, in whom we live
Let her feeble efforts aid
And help me to watch her deeds
In the scene of trembling and fear.
Our thy Lord in the giant nirvana
Whenever decoy frights her heart
Or the nature puff the breeze of threat
Your guardian shall be her guard.
Our giant in the superstorey heaven
Let her worthy life be like beam
That sparkles down in spheres
As she rocks her ages in glory.
Damilola! rise today n wail to the yard
Where what they toss is virtue and savvy
As you wear another crown of age
Alas! Our happiness is immeasurable.

300 level ABU student commits suicide over ‘lack of parental love’

A   300 level student of the  Ahmadu Bello University , Zaria, ABU Aisha Omolola, has committed suicide in her apartment at Samaru area of Zaria. Aisha, TALKERlearned, drank a bottle of insecticide on December 26, 2018, leaving a note where she stated the reason for her action. In her suicide note, the deceased blamed her parents for her action, saying they made life a living hell for her. The suicide note read: “Just like I said, If I am no more, please hold my family especially my mum and dad responsible. I have tried to be the best I can be, stayed away from them just because they blamed me for their mistakes and they can’t love, help and take care of me like their own. “My mum has made life a living hell for me because she is bipolar and frustrated, accusing me of being a witch, and a cursed child even though my brother is responsible for my education and upkeep. “The only thing she helps me with is my feeding money.
