BREAKING NEWS: President Buhari Signs 2018 Budget

President Muhammadu Buhari has finally signed the 2018 Appropriation Act.
He signed the document a few minutes after midday on Wednesday in his office at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

A   300 level student of the  Ahmadu Bello University , Zaria, ABU Aisha Omolola, has committed suicide in her apartment at Samaru area of Zaria. Aisha, TALKERlearned, drank a bottle of insecticide on December 26, 2018, leaving a note where she stated the reason for her action. In her suicide note, the deceased blamed her parents for her action, saying they made life a living hell for her. “El-Rufai Behind Crisis In Kaduna State” – Kaduna Senator

Senator Suleiman Hunkuyi representing Kaduna South Senatorial district has alleged that the State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai is responsible for the crisis in Kaduna state. In his contribution to the motion on Kaduna crisis which was sponsored by Senator Suleiman Hunkuyi representing Kaduna North Senatorial district on Wednesday, October 24th said the governor had hints of the crisis before he travelled outside the country. The lawmaker added that the governor deliberately orchestrated crisis in Kajuru in Kaduna South where about 55 lives were lost on Saturday because he knew that the zone would not vote him in 2019 elections. “The governor should be held responsible for the crisis in Kaduna. Restructuring would not end Nigeria’s problems – Emir Sanusi

The Emir of Kano, HRH Muhammadu Sanusi II, has said he is deeply worried whenever the topic of restructuring Nigeria is being debated among the elite. According to him, it was uncertain that restructuring would end the problems of the country. He spoke on Thursday at the third edition of Justice Anthony Aniagolu Memorial Lecture held at the Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu. Emir Sanusi said Nigerians, especially the educated ones, should stop avoiding the more relevant issues that should be critically looked at when talking about restructuring.
